Leo Verdugo is a Business Services Representative for the Department of Economic Security and ARIZONA@WORK’s Business Service Team. After 25-years of active duty service and retiring from the United States Marine Corps, Leo Verdugo understood the value of taking care of his own. With a background in military recruiting and senior leadership, his mindset has been to successfully complete the mission and take care of people’s wellness and morale.
With professional experiences working with individuals and local business, it has earned him a reputation within the Tucson community for loyalty, respect, and initiative. Over the years working along Arizona’s Veterans, he earned personal recognitions of Local Veterans Employment Representative (LVER) of the year and numerous Lanny Branch Awards. His attributes and team’s enormous success and growth to his strategic alliances with businesses who appreciate his commitment to service. You may often hear him say “One-Team, One-Fight!”
