Preparing for Camp

The more you train before camp, the greater success you will achieve during the 10-day encampment.

Earning the title of Devil Pup is a lifetime achievement. The journey begins when you commit to self-improvement. You are encouraged to start a training regimen (if you have not done so already) that will help you pursue your goal of earning the title of Devil Pup. It would be best if you focused on the PFT requirements: running a mile, push-ups, pull-ups, and planks. Being physically prepared for the 10 days of camp will enhance your success at Devil Pups. Some of you may train with your fellow candidates in the weeks leading up to camp, but you can also do this at home or school, possibly with a parent or a friend to stay motivated.

 

In addition to your physical training, you should include a disciplined nutritional, rest and recovery routine, this includes staying hydrated. In order to exude the leadership qualities your LR has observed in you, you’ll want to be as prepared as possible for the ten-day training schedule.

The 13 week workout schedule above will give you the routine you need to be prepared for the encampment. If you follow this workout schedule you will excel at camp. The nutritional guidelines above are intended to aide your training preparation as well.
